Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026 · Afrieira Cycling

1. Who we are

Afrieira Cycling is a fantasy cycling game operated by Afrieira Cycling, an individual operator based in Spain, reachable at [email protected].

2. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using any part of the Afrieira Cycling platform (available at cycling.afrieira.com), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

3. The service

Afrieira Cycling offers two modes:

  • Fantasy mode — free for all registered users. Create teams, join leagues, and compete across real cycling races.
  • Career mode — requires an active Premium subscription or a free trial. Includes private leagues, a draft system, division promotion/relegation, and season-long squad management.

4. Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. You may not create multiple accounts or share your account with others.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abuse, or attempt to manipulate the game in bad faith.

5. Premium subscription and free trial

New accounts receive a 30-day free trial of Career mode upon email verification. No payment is required during the trial.

After the trial, access to Career mode requires a Premium subscription at €10/year, billed annually through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

You may cancel at any time from Account Settings. Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time, except where required by applicable law.

Prices may change with reasonable advance notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price change affects their renewal.

6. Payments

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Afrieira Cycling does not store your card details. By subscribing, you authorise Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring annual basis. If a payment fails, we will notify you and your Premium access may be suspended until payment is resolved.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the platform
  • Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities to gain an unfair advantage
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
  • Use automated tools or bots to interact with the service

8. Intellectual property

All content, design, code, and branding of Afrieira Cycling belong to the operator. Cyclist names, team names, and race data are used for entertainment and informational purposes. Afrieira Cycling is not affiliated with any official cycling organisation.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service with reasonable notice. If the service is permanently discontinued, we will offer a pro-rated refund to active subscribers.

10. Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by Spanish and EU law, Afrieira Cycling is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Spain, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under EU law.
